[SPEAKER_09]: uh... we've a lot to do today but uh... i noticed you have a uh... now i do happen to know that uh... and during the last week uh... rob speedwack mentioned to you hey uh... you could you might want to consider getting a green screen you guys were i had and i and i did and i got to say

[SPEAKER_10]: you know, he's such a pro because I did, I did not know that a green screen really looks good and that also what it does and this is a shock.

[SPEAKER_10]: It sets off my green eyes in a really

[SPEAKER_10]: my eyes are brown, but I'm going to say you don't have green eyes.

[SPEAKER_10]: No, but but I think that there's an illusion that they're green because I have this new background.

[SPEAKER_10]: I paid I paid a hundred bucks for a new background and boy was he right.

[SPEAKER_10]: It's just what the doctor ordered.

[SPEAKER_09]: It's fantastic, but I need to explain something to you.

[SPEAKER_09]: A green screen is a method for projecting and not projecting, but inserting other images behind you.

[SPEAKER_09]: We don't really want to see just the green screen, although it's beautiful, it looks great.

[SPEAKER_09]: You've got it lit in a kind of an artsy way, but it's so that we can put something else behind you.

[SPEAKER_10]: I just know no he said get a green screen.

[SPEAKER_09]: So I got I thought green was the I thought green was what the order of the day was that the green is really a good idea I very early call up Rob speedwack please could you join us sir and explain to Gary what the purpose of a green screen now Gary is a TV producer.

[SPEAKER_09]: No. [SPEAKER_09]: She's been dealing with it, but she's doing better, and she's going to do a residency in Paris later this year. [SPEAKER_10]: I think it's unbelievable that she's able to sing again. [SPEAKER_10]: It's amazing. [SPEAKER_10]: Yeah. [SPEAKER_10]: And it's a shame that she got stiff people syndrome because men have been trying to get it forever. [SPEAKER_10]: Um, but Celine Dion was unlucky enough to get it. [SPEAKER_10]: She was unlucky enough to get it because she has no use for it. [SPEAKER_09]: Right. [SPEAKER_09]: That's right. [SPEAKER_10]: I think if the first of all, I can sing. [SPEAKER_10]: So if I stiff people syndrome and I couldn't sing anymore, I was, it was like, I'm never going to continue to be able to sing. [SPEAKER_09]: So I think one of the things that's going to be very interesting about this show as we go on and on, hopefully, and do many, many, many episodes. [SPEAKER_09]: Yeah, but at some point, someone is going to listen to this show, perhaps even watch this show on YouTube, and begin to act as a therapist and diagnose probably both of us. [SPEAKER_09]: I think more or more you, because your stream of consciousness is very, very interesting. [SPEAKER_09]: You know, from Benher, Titanic, Celine Dion, stiff person syndrome, you know, hidden reference to ED. [SPEAKER_09]: You know, it's quite fascinating. [SPEAKER_10]: Well, do you, you know, the funny thing is that you find it fascinating, no teacher ever did. [SPEAKER_10]: And I went to school. [SPEAKER_10]: I mean, you know, I was, I was late, least likely to exceed. [SPEAKER_10]: you mean succeed. [SPEAKER_09]: I mean, exceed. [SPEAKER_09]: I mean, like, yeah. [SPEAKER_09]: And I remember when you told me that, I was shocked because obviously you're, you're bright, you're smart, you're talented, you're creative, all that kind of stuff. [SPEAKER_09]: But you had difficulties in school. [SPEAKER_10]: You know, I think they know more about what to do with people like me. [SPEAKER_10]: I mean, I suppose I'm undiagnosed ADHD. [SPEAKER_10]: I assume that, but my mind works very fast. [SPEAKER_10]: Yes. [SPEAKER_10]: And yet, when the teachers asked a question, I'm not only didn't know what the question was. [SPEAKER_10]: I wasn't sure what great I was in. [SPEAKER_10]: Mm-hmm. [SPEAKER_10]: I don't know if I, and so I could, I just couldn't pay attention. [SPEAKER_10]: I was always staring out the window making up stories, living in my head and having a better time. [SPEAKER_10]: And as it turned out, you know that for a long time, I wrote a lot of television. [SPEAKER_10]: I wrote comedies. [SPEAKER_10]: I wrote sitcoms. [SPEAKER_10]: I wrote for stand-up comics and you can't project ahead from your childhood to see where you're going to be. [SPEAKER_10]: Right, but but I am I just such a cliche. [SPEAKER_10]: I mean, everybody just told me, you know, he, he's, he's stupid. [SPEAKER_10]: He can't figure it out. [SPEAKER_10]: He's going on. [SPEAKER_10]: No, but I have to say that my favorite English teacher, Joe Gabel in high school, you know, the last day of school when you're giving out your high school yearbook and people are signing and everything. [SPEAKER_10]: He wrote on his picture to Gary, one of the nicest and laziest people I've ever met. [SPEAKER_10]: Oh, wow.
